Established over 130 years ago, the Tata Trusts are among India's oldest and largest philanthropic institutions. Inspired by the vision of founder Jamsetji Tata, the Trusts have enabled ideas, institutions and systems that create lasting impact.

Today, the Trusts support a wide range of partners through grants, institutional support and long-term collaborations, with the aim of strengthening public systems, building enduring institutions and advancing sustainable solutions across healthcare, nutrition, education, water, sanitation and hygiene, and urban and rural livelihoods, among other areas.

Whether you lead an organisation working at the grassroots and want to make a difference, or you're an individual in need of support for your educational aspirations, or seeking financial aid for medical treatment, this is where you can start.

For Institutions

Partner With Us to Create Impact. We build meaningful solutions, bridging tradition and innovation, through collaborations that nurture grassroots efforts, empower change makers, and touch lives across India. To maximise the impact of our work, we partner with like-minded institutions, and non-profit organisations that can accelerate change at the grassroots level.

If you are looking for opportunities for your organisation to partner with us, then please ensure that your organisation meets all the following criteria, to be considered for a partnership or grant:

  • Be registered as a Society, Trust, Section 8 Company, or be incorporated under a Special Act of the Central or State Government.
  • Hold a valid PAN card.
  • Hold a valid certificate under Section 12AA (or any other applicable section) of the Income Tax Act, certifying that the institution has been incorporated or established for a charitable purpose.

For Individuals

For over a century, we have supported meritorious students to pursue their educational aspirations through our scholarships and endowment grants. We also offer financial aid to individuals for medical treatment. This support is offered directly to individuals through our Individual Grants Programme, covering both education and medical grants.

Education Grants

For school-going children who need support to stay in school or individuals wishing to pursue higher studies overseas or in a specialised field, the Trusts' Individual Grants Education Programme offers several programmes.

Medical Grants

A medical emergency brings both financial and emotional strain. The Trusts’ Individual Grants provide financial assistance to patients to help meet the cost of medical treatment.
